What is Panax ginseng root extract?
Ginseng is also known by its biological name Panax ginseng. There are various varieties of ginseng- Korean ginseng, Chinese ginseng, and American ginseng. However, depending upon root’s freshness there are again three varieties; fresh ginseng, white ginseng (Peeled & dried) and red ginseng (steamed and dried). It contains saponins like ginsenosides or panaxosides, terpenoids, carbohydrates, sugars, vitamins, minerals, and ginseng oil.The ginseng root varieties include P, Ginseng root powder, extract and root water. The extract is light to medium amber in color.
